Alexander Vezenkov had another rough night in his NBA debut season. The Bulgarian basketball star and his teammates recorded their third defeat in the first five rounds, this time falling to the Houston Rockets 89:107.
The unpleasant fact of the match is that Vezenkov failed to realize points, and his playing time was much less compared to the previous meetings.
The native national spent a total of 10 minutes on the field, during which he managed to record only one fight, without accounting for an assist and a basket.
Vezenkov made his first appearance midway through the first quarter when, with 6:14 left, the Sacramento Kings trailed 8:19 and coach Mike Brown rotated a large portion of the lineup in search of a better performance.
However, this never happened, and this first part ended with a score of 33:19 for the hosts from the Houston Rockets.
Vezenkov was replaced two minutes into the second quarter, and after another round of turnovers, Sacramento’s play improved and the Kings managed to win the next two quarters.
Thus, the last quarter began with a score of 71:68 for the hosts, and Vezenkov recorded two minutes of play at the very end of the third part.
In the last part, the Bulgarian did not appear in the game, and Houston showed incredible basketball, and with 36:21 in it, managed to win the game with the final score of 107:89.
Thus, for the first time in his stay in the NBA, Alexander Vezenkov failed to score a basket. He started with 8 points in his debut, then scored 10 against Golden State and 11 against the Los Angeles Lakers before dropping just two points in another game against Golden State, and tonight there was no asset for our national team.
