A 24-year-old man from Lyaskovets, known to the police, but not convicted, is the driver who swept Ferrari Spasov’s car with a sports Mercedes on Saturday, “24 Chasa” reports.
The driver has 16 months of experience and drove the powerful German car at a very high speed – about 150 km/h.
The accident was reported on Saturday at 4:40 p.m., according to the police in Veliko Tarnovo. On the busy route Sofia – Varna, the famous coach was returning from a match of his Dunav Lom team to Lovech. Behind him was the 24-year-old Noncho, who crashed his powerful car into the Golf Ferrari. The coach died on the spot.

The young driver of the other car and his 28-year-old female passenger were taken to the emergency room with minor injuries.
He was tested for alcohol and drugs – the samples were negative. Blood samples were also taken for chemical analysis. He was detained for 24 hours under the law on the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
