Americans will be able to choose the first cars from home

The American online store “Amazon” announced on Friday that it will also start selling cars from the New Year. For now, online sales will be limited to the US, with South Korean Hyundai cars being the first to be offered for purchase.
Customers will be able to shop for new cars on Amazon, with the physical cars available at dealerships near them. They will be able to filter their search by model, trim, color and other features, as well as use their preferred payment options, including credit.
The car will then either be delivered to the buyer or he can pick it up from the dealership in person, the company said.

As part of the new partnership, Hyundai will start equipping its cars with Amazon’s voice assistant – “Alexa”.
For their part, “Hyundai” will begin to install the virtual voice assistant of “Amazon” – “Alexa” in their new modifications. The feature, which will appear in 2025, will make it possible for the driver to complete their tasks while driving, turn on the heating in their home, BTA reports, citing the German news agency DPA.
