European champions Italy still managed to qualify for Euro 2024 after a goalless draw away to Ukraine in Group C of the qualifiers for a place in Germany.
The Azzurri thus finished second in the group with 14 points, the same as Ukraine, but thanks to victory on Italian soil, Luciano Spalletti’s men qualified for Euro 2024.
