Bulgarian basketball national Alexander Vezenkov, for the second time since the beginning of the season, was left out of the Sacramento Kings group for an NBA game. The 28-year-old winger felt pain in the thumb of his left hand, and this is the reason he did not play when visiting the New Orleans Pelicans.
The unpleasant news about Vezenkov’s injury was compounded by the fact that in his absence, the “Kings” stopped their streak of six consecutive victories, losing to the “Pelicans” 93:129. Harrison Barnes became Sacramento’s leading scorer in the game, scoring 16 points. Darren Fox added 14, and Domantas Sabonis had a double-double – 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Brendan Ingram scored 31 points for the success of the hosts from New Orleans. Zion Williamson scored 26 points. Jonas Valachunas had a double-double for the Pelicans – 10 points and 13 rebounds.
The loss dropped the Sacramento Kings one spot in the Western Conference standings. The “Kings” are already fifth. The team’s next game is again a visit to the New Orleans Pelicans. The match will be played on November 23 (Thursday) at 3:00 Bulgarian time.
