A legendary owner of a football club is running for Borislav Mihailov’s place.
“I will run for president of the BFS!” announced to BLITZ the co-owner of Lokomotiv Plovdiv Hristo Krusharski.
“I am preparing a program that will be ready before the congress. I am waiting for their date to be announced and I will appear in the elections. I will focus my efforts on the amateur clubs. There’s the puzzle. They need support.
I have left quite a mark behind me. With Lokoto, we have two Bulgarian Cups and one Super Cup, as well as one second place. I have personally built 7 pitches with my own funds.
Look, football is an enterprise. You have to be able to lead the process in it. A concept is needed, and a solid team is needed. I have a concept, I will have an excellent team with knowledgeable and capable people. I will not take any salary. I am categorical. I don’t want to become the president of the BFS to earn money, but for football to win. I have no idea if this sounds populist, but I’m sure it rings true because I say it from the heart.

In all the commotion, in the midst of great tension and against more valuable teams than us, he did not allow losses, but two draws. As in both cases, Bulgaria was close to victory.
