By decree of the president: Dimitar Glavchev was also appointed as foreign minister

There is also a new Minister of Agriculture

After a conversation with the Acting Prime Minister and received proposals from his side on the basis of Art. 99 par. 5 of the Constitution, the head of state Rumen Radev also appointed Dimitar Glavchev as acting minister of foreign affairs, and Georgi Takhov as acting minister of agriculture and food. This was announced by the press center of the Presidency.

With the same decree, the head of state dismissed Stefan Dimitrov from the position of acting minister of foreign affairs, and Kiril Vatev – from the position of acting minister of agriculture and food.

The reshuffle in the official cabinet became a fact after a week of disputes over the requested changes in the composition of the government. Although a meeting between the prime minister and the president of “Dondukov” 2 was announced, there was none on Monday.

We remind you that a week ago, Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev requested the replacement of Stefan Dimitrov. First, he proposed the deputy chairman of GERB Daniel Mitov for the position, who resigned after a number of criticisms. The Prime Minister announced that there was no plan B and decided to take over this position himself. President Rumen Radev, however, gave him time until today to think and consult with experts. And although the head of state declared this idea quite avant-garde – he still signed the decree for the prime minister to take the position of the number one diplomat.
