Two Ukrainians died in an accident on road III-9002 between General Toshevo and the village of Tsarichino in Balchik, reported the head of the “Road Police” sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Dobrich, Julian Minev.

Three cars collided – two with Romanian registration and one with Ukrainian registration. The Ukrainian car, which was moving in the direction from the village of Tsarichino to the village of Kremena, entered the oncoming traffic. A collision with the first Romanian car followed, as a result of which the Ukrainian car spun around and hit the second Romanian car head-on, explained the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The child of the deceased and two Romanian citizens who were traveling in the second car were placed in the intensive care unit of the Multispecialty Hospital in Dobrich for active treatment with life-threatening conditions.

Traffic is still moving in both directions in one lane, the Regional Road Administration added. The Road Infrastructure Agency urges drivers to drive with caution and appropriate speed.
