The Director of Championships and Tournaments at the BFS, Valentin Chakarov, said after the extraordinary meeting at the SDVR for the upcoming derby between CSKA and Levski on Saturday, that there will be visiting fans at the Vasil Levski National Stadium.
He added that the position of the football headquarters is to allow supporters from both teams.
“Both teams stated that they expect 12-13 thousand people from both clubs at the derby. Levski’s proposal not to have a guest audience has not been commented on today. Football is for the fans. I am for dialogue and understanding, and for the fans to enjoy the football game and not have what has been happening lately. There was an understanding between the two clubs. Hopefully the fans will understand that this is one game and the best man wins. Let there be no such things as lately. We take the position that the football game should please the fans. It’s not nice when there are no people in the stands,” Chakarov said.
