Heber footballer Angel Bastunov can be considered a Levski player. “The Blues” already have a contract with the 24-year-old player, “Tema Sport” reported. And from the summer he should join his new team. Bastunov will arrive at Gerena as a free agent. The reason is that his agreement with marketers expires at the end of the campaign.

Bastunov is having a strong season for Heber, who is fighting tooth and nail for survival in the elite. He is a key player in Luboslav Penev’s squad. So far, there are 29 championship matches (b.a. – in 28 he was the starter), in which he scored 4 goals. He helped the team to reach the semifinals of the cup against Ludogorets. There were 3 matches in the tournament and one goal – at that in the net of Levski, who was eliminated in the 1/8-final. The interesting thing is that Bastunov went through the “Gerena” school, but did not play for the first team. He also wore the teams of Botev (Plovdiv), Cariana and CSKA 1948.

“The Blues” wanted Angel Bastunov already in the winter. Then they signed defensive midfielder Carlos Ohene from Heber. However, they failed to agree on the rights of the Bulgarian.

At the beginning of the year, “Georgi Asparuhov” had a serious interest in two native nationals, which is still relevant at the moment. It is about the goalkeeper Daniel Naumov and the central striker Alex Kolev. They both become free agents in the summer. The first is currently part of FC CSKA 1948, and the second from the hit of the season Krumovgrad. The “Blues” have another option for the goalkeeper position – Pirin guard Maxim Kovalov.

Levski did not give BGN 200,000 for Bastunov, but for the same amount he hired Patrik Mislovic
