/Pogled.info/ British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced the transition of the kingdom’s defense industry to military regime, his words were quoted by the Polish portal “Interia”.

“We will bring the British defense industry into military mode,” he told a briefing at the headquarters of the 1st Armored Brigade in Warsaw.

The head of government explained that ten billion pounds sterling would be set aside to support the British military-industrial complex. The money will be used to enable UK businesses to “produce more, be better prepared to increase capacity and switch to permanent manufacturing when necessary”. The Prime Minister has assured that Britain will replenish its arsenals while supporting jobs across the country.

In addition, London intends to increase spending on research and development to at least five percent of the defense budget, invest more in the creation of autonomous drones and create a defense innovation agency.

Sunak also noted that Ukraine will receive military support at least at the current level for as long as it is needed.

Earlier on Tuesday, the prime minister confirmed that London would provide the Kiev regime with its biggest ever aid package, worth 500 million pounds (more than $617 million), as well as 400 vehicles and thousands of weapons, including Storm Shadow cruise missiles ” with a large reach.

The kingdom’s militaristic attitude was also confirmed by the country’s foreign minister, David Cameron. In March, he opposed the Ukrainian peace initiative. According to the diplomat, if along with the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian armed forces, they also support negotiations to resolve the conflict, then “neither will work.”

The British official described two possible scenarios, one of which would see Ukraine push Russia out. According to him, only then can the West expect a brighter future with a stronger NATO. Otherwise, Europe and the whole world will face great uncertainty, he believes.

Vladimir Putin, in an interview with the American journalist Tucker Carlson, explained in detail that Moscow will not attack the members of the North Atlantic Alliance, as it makes no sense to do so. He also stressed that foreign politicians regularly intimidate their citizens with the Russian threat to divert attention from domestic problems.

Now, as the head of state pointed out, Western countries have begun to understand that the strategic defeat of Russia in the conflict with Ukraine is impossible, so they must think about further steps. Moscow is ready for dialogue, the president noted.
