The leader of GERB and former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov announced an end to any assemblies and non-coalitions with the PP-DB parliamentary group in front of journalists on the sidelines of the Party House. The reason – the removal of the chairman of the 49th National Assembly Rosen Zhelyazkov.
“Now there will probably be at least 5-6 official offices. Hypocrites,” snapped Borisov.
The entire parliamentary group of GERB-SDS also stood behind him.
He congratulated the new coalition PP-DB, “Vazrazhdane”, BSP and ITN. “They make it much easier for me that there will be no more questions about DPS, or PP, or assemblies. I think that at least 5-6 governments will line up,” Borisov was visibly angry.
He is also outraged by the reasons for demanding the resignation of the Speaker of the 49th National Assembly, having read the reasons of the former prime minister and current co-chairman of PP-DB Kiril Petkov for violation of the regulations under Art. 48, paragraph 5 – draft decision regarding the need to provide a new building for the Constitutional Court, draft decision to amend and supplement the rules of the National Assembly, Law on Protection from Domestic Violence, Law on the Judiciary, Draft Law on the Control of Implementation of Restrictive Measures measures in view of Russia’s actions destabilizing the situation in Ukraine. “That’s why RAutumn Zhelyazkov received him standing in the Ukrainian parliament, shame for colleagues from DB, shame. Yesterday they did not support the commission to raise the pensions of the repressed, killed in the camps. Big shame. These hypocrites, I will not insult them on any other ground. I’m already explaining Terziev to State Security, and Modev, and everyone,” Borisov of the PP-DB is furious.
According to Borisov, Rosen Zhelyazkov should leave immediately and not wait for this new assembly to exist.
“Congratulations on the new coalition, which I want you to stop asking me about. “Revival”, congratulations, we got rid of PP-DB. Congratulations to them, congratulations to the colleagues from ITN and we have already seen all their stories against PP. We will be a worthy opposition to the PP-DB, which has already found new partners, and I hope that the people will now see what they are doing and arrange us so that something like this does not happen,” said Borisov, who did not respond to journalistic questions , and left angry.

The BSP demanded the release of Rosen Zhelyazkov because of the order issued to change Art. 22 paragraph 7 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly. “Vazrazhdane” also demanded his resignation. The party was outraged by the chairman of the National Assembly because he did not allow the Armenian Genocide to be honored in the hall. PP-DB submitted a request for the removal of Zhelyazkov with reasons for his overall behavior as the head of the institution. According to the coalition, he abuses power and authority and works in the interest of GERB and DPS.
