The owner of Spartak Varna, Pavlin Nikolov, expressed great satisfaction with the 1:0 victory against Krumovgrad, which qualified the Falcons to the round of 16 in the Bulgarian Cup tournament.
“We are not for this group, but last season we made the wrong decisions in the elite,” he said smiling and satisfied after the success, while accepting congratulations in the stands from executive director Todor Stoykov, municipal councilors, regional mayors and popular Varna businessmen.
Spartak is confidently heading for a return to the masters, having so far been second in the second echelon with 29 points, 4 from the first of September.
Until the end of the year, the Varna hosts Ludogorets 2 and Sportist Svoge and visit Spartak in Pleven, CSKA 1948 in Sofia and Yantra in Gabrovo.
