World number 1 Novak Djokovic triumphed at the Masters series tournament in Paris after a 6:4, 6:3 success against Grigor Dimitrov.

The Bulgarian played a very strong tournament, but was unable to challenge the Serbian in the final. The first set haskovlia was broken after making many errors.

In the second set, things were the same, and Nole did not leave many chances for Grisho.

FIRST SET:

1:0 The match started with a serve by the Bulgarian. The first play sent out, and then Djokovic hit the net and the score was 15:15. Grigor showed incredible defense, but in the end, Djokovic came to the net and released a short ball that the Bulgarian could not handle. He then won his serve after a strong serve.

2:1 The game did not start well for Grigor Dimitrov, who still had problems with his first serve. Djokovic led with 30:15, but the Haskovic managed to score a powerful opening shot and equalized. Then he took the lead by leaving no chances to the opponent with an excellent forehand. A good play followed, in which Grisho controlled the situation and managed to win the game.

2:2 The Serbian started with a double fault. After that, he was not convincing again and Grisho took the initiative with 30:0. Djokovic came forward and got back in the game with a great volley. A strong kick-off followed and 30:30. Nole was able to close his play.

3:2 The Bulgarian was also not decisive on his serve from the start of the match. The game reached 30:30, and then Grisho came forward to the net and pressed Djokovic, who sent the ball out. So Grisho got a chance to win his serve and he did it with a good serve that Djokovic couldn’t return.

3:3 Grigor was unable to cope with his opponent’s serves and trailed by 0:30. Then he also sends the ball into the net. Djokovic had no problems closing his serve to zero.

3:4 and breakthrough for Nole! The Haskovic continued to have problems with her first serve as Djokovic got more and more into a rhythm. He even took the lead with 30:15 because of Grigor’s overpowered forehand. Then our first racket went to the net and made it. The Bulgarian sent the ball out and gave the world number 1 the first chance for a breakthrough. The breakthrough came after a mistake by Grisho.

3:5 Djokovic quickly took the lead with 30:0. After that, he reached two more points without difficulty and consolidated his breakthrough at zero.

4:5 However, Grigor had serious problems with his service game, despite this he managed to take the lead with 30:15. Joker managed to equalize again after a mistake by the Bulgarian. A new 40:40 tie was reached. Grisho did an excellent job and still took the game.

4:6 and a set for Djokovic! The world number 1 took the lead in the break, but then Grisho responded with a wonderful attack to equalize. It was tied again at 30:30 after a game of 33 shots and great play on our first racket. Nole scored a strong first serve and took the lead, but the Bulgarian did not give up and brought the game to 40:40. Two points followed for Djokovic, who won the set.

SECOND SET:

1:0 Grisho started the second set well with a convincing service game.

1:1 The game went to 15:15, but then Djokovic took full control and led 40:15 after an excellent forehand, and after a ball into the net from Grisho, he was able to level the game in the second set.

2:1 A mistake by Grigor gave the Serbian the lead. He equalized after a powerful smash. Haskovlia managed to take the lead after a ball in an out by the Joker. He increased his lead and then closed his play.

2:2 Nole managed to take a 30-0 lead, despite making a mistake on the first serve. Grigor Dimitrov then returned to the game after an unprovoked error by his opponent. 2:3 and a breakthrough for the Serbian! Grisho quickly took the lead with 30:0. However, there were problems after that and Djokovic was able to level at 30:30. Good forehand play, however, gave the Bulgarian tennis player a new lead, after which it was tied at 40:40. Grisho had a lead but then dropped it. A new mistake gave the Serbian a chance to break through. A fourth consecutive unforced error gave the game and the break to Nole.

2:4 Djokovic managed to consolidate his break with a game to zero. No problems for the Serb.

3:4 Another unprovoked mistake by Grigor made it 15:15. A new one gave the world number 1 an advance. Djokovic received a new break point. Still, the Bulgarian managed to equalize 40:40. Our first rocket even took the lead after a good attack and a ball out by the opponent. Grigor’s first serve was again not good, but he scored a not bad second and entered a play that ended with a ball in the net by the Serbian. So Dimitrov took his play and stayed in the match.

3:5 Grigor equalized at 15:15, and on the next serve, Djokovic came forward at the net and managed to checkmate the Bulgarian. Then Grisho with a great forehand reached 30:30. However, he failed to return the opponent’s next serve and found himself behind again. Djokovic kept his composure and successfully closed his game.

3:6 Haskovlia lost the first point of her game, but then managed to turn it around. Unfortunately, the Bulgarian made a double mistake and that’s how it came to 30:30. A wonderful return from Djokovic gave me another chance to break and win the match. He took advantage of it beautifully and closed out the second set with a break as he clinched the title again in Paris.
