Dominik Soboslay is enjoying a fabulous time in his career. The Hungarian international very quickly entered the Liverpool team after his transfer to “Anfield” in the summer, and with his help, the “Hungarians” secured a place in the European Championship next year.
On Sunday, Hungary beat Montenegro 3-1 after a comeback, with Soboslay scoring twice at the Puskas Arena.
After the match, the goalkeeper of the team, Denesh Dybusch, did not save his superlatives for the aces of Liverpool.
“You feel like you’re watching Lionel Messi when he was at his best in Barcelona a few years ago,” Dybusch told Hungarian publication Index. “Dominik is an incredibly classy player and a great leader who is able to lead the team on the pitch and add something extra to his game to get the others involved. After the Bulgaria game, I think he was a bit disappointed that despite his chances, he couldn’t score. But I think he should be happy with what he showed against Montenegro .”
The midfielder quickly got under the skin of Liverpool fans after arriving at Anfield from German side RB Leipzig a few months ago.
The Hungarian has been impressing for the Reds, with some supporters already comparing him to Steven Gerrard.
