Stanimir Stoilov signed his contract with Turkey’s Göztepe, he learned Gong.bg. On Tuesday, the specialist will travel to Izmir, where he will be presented as the new coach of the “yellow-reds”.

Murray’s staff will include his long-time assistant Tsanko Tsvetanov, as well as Yoncho Arsov. The three worked together in Levski, where they achieved great results for a year and a half.

Goztepe’s management was impressed by the work of Stoilov and his Gerena staff. Murray built a solid squad of players who were brought in for no money, and most of them came from the second or third division. With the “blues”, Stoilov won the Bulgarian Cup and eliminated the multimillion-dollar selection of PAOK in the Conference League.

Göz Göz occupies the sixth place in the provisional ranking of the First League of Turkey. The team has 20 points after 12 games played, 10 behind leaders Eyupspor. The former Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf and Ismail Köybaş, who has played for the Turkish national team, appear in the squad. Atanch Newkan, who spent two seasons in RB Leipzig, is part of the team.

There is also a football player with Bulgarian roots in Goztepe – goalkeeper Berkin Yozgyur. However, he is not a main part of the lineup.

Stoilov’s debut will be on November 26, Sunday, against Tuzlaspor at the Gursel Axel Stadium in Izmir.
