The SDVR is taking measures to protect public order and organize traffic in the capital in connection with the football match tomorrow at 18:00 at the “Alexander Shalamanov” stadium between the youth national teams of Bulgaria and Estonia, the police announced.
A buffer zone will be built around the stadium. The traffic regime will be implemented through two checkpoints on “Koloman” street – one on the side of “Ovcha Kupel” blvd. and the second on the side of “Slavia” street. To avoid overcrowding, due to the strict checks, we invite spectators to take advantage of the open entrances to the stadium at 17:00.
“We inform the visitors that checks will be carried out on persons in order to identify perpetrators of anti-social acts from the evening of November 16. Before, during and after the football match, police officers will monitor the preservation of public order and the prevention of crimes on the territory of the city. Strict measures have been taken by the organizer to prevent the admission of visitors who have been banned from attending sports events. Minors will be allowed on the territory of the stadium only with an adult companion and a pre-filled declaration that can be downloaded and from the Internet. Checks will also be carried out for carrying prohibited items and items – firearms, pyrotechnics, knives, batons, boxes, bottles, etc. We urge everyone who will go to support the youth national team to be careful and they do not allow themselves to be involved in provocations”, reported the SDVR.
