Russian national volleyball player Arina Mikhailina died on Sunday, and the local volleyball federation officially confirmed the tragic news only today. Russian media reported that it was a suicide.
According to the Russian agency MK, one of the country’s most beautiful athletes was found alive and immediately taken to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save her. “The nature of the injuries suggested that Mihailina committed suicide,” the hospital reported.

Arina Mikhailina won the Russian U17 Championship in 2018. The following year he won bronze at the Spartakiad for students.
In a message from the volleyball club Zarechie-Odintsovo, for which Mihailina played, it is said that the girl did not play in the current season of the Russian championship “due to health reasons”.
