Last week marked the foundation of another club of Lokomotiv supporters abroad. This time in neighboring Romania, “Lauta” reported.

The place – the village of Star Beshenov, in the Banat region, inhabited by descendants of real Bulgarians who left the borders of today’s Bulgaria centuries ago, after the Chiprov uprising, but preserved the Bulgarian spirit. People who love football. And how better to describe the union of the Bulgarian spirit and love for football than with the colors of Lokomotiv Plovdiv!

Here’s what else they said from the “black and white” football club:

We were welcomed by Georgi Nakov, a Bulgarian from Banat, former mayor of Star Beshenov and current member of the Romanian Parliament. We also visited a match of the local football club “Pobeda”, founded in 1927.

With excitement and sparkle in their eyes, our new friends accepted the gifts from Plovdiv – a special T-shirt with a message signed by Hristo Bonev, a Lokomotiv t-shirt and a ball with the players’ signatures, a flag for the local fan club, and last but not least, a copy of the book “From Here love begins” for the Bulgarian library in Beshenov.
