Bulgarian international Kiril Despodov is the favorite for Player of the Season not only in PAOK, but also in the entire Super League. This is what the journalist Dimitris Drakos from the website flash.gr claims.

The other candidate for the prize is the 27-year-old Argentine striker of AEK – Ezequiel Ponce. And he, like Despodov, is playing his first season in Greece, but has scored 13 goals in 25 games. The Bulgarian and Ponce are the only footballers who have more than ten goals in this year’s championship, without taking a single penalty.
