Levski’s management published the club’s financial statements for the past 2023.

From the published documents, as well as from the report of the independent auditor, it is clear that for the last calendar year the club recorded a profit of BGN 2,215,000.

However, the report also states that the registered capital of the company, which amounts to BGN 30,787,000, exceeds its net assets, which amount to BGN 1,535,000.

The auditor company emphasizes that a requirement of the Commercial Law has been violated, and these circumstances give rise to uncertainty about the company’s ability to continue functioning.

It is also mentioned that the management has expressed confidence that PFK Levski will maintain normal operations through the financial support of its shareholders.

From the detailed financial statement, it can be seen that a huge share in the “liabilities” sector – a little over BGN 27 million – is reported as “Trade and other liabilities”.

Of these, just over 4 million are in the “Tax Liabilities” section, which is probably the debt to the NRA, there are just over 11 million in “Payables to suppliers” and just over 10 million in the “Trade Loans and Interests” section.

As of today, Levski no longer owes an amount on his principal to the National Revenue Agency, where the obligation remains only the interest accumulated over the years, which will be paid in installments. There is also a rescheduling for the debt to the Capital Municipality.

As we well know, a huge part of the entire debt to Levski is also to the company of the former owner Vasil Bozhkov, but at least to date this obligation is unclaimed, and the majority owner Nasko Sirakov defined the case as “complicated”.
