Jurgen Klopp spoke openly about his sure successor as Liverpool manager, Arne Slott, at his press conference today ahead of the game against West Ham on Saturday.
The German did not refuse to comment on the topic around which there are now almost no unknowns – namely that the Feyenoord coach will take over from the summer when Klopp leaves Liverpool.
On Friday evening, the news from the Netherlands was that the two clubs had agreed a move for the coach to England. The 45-year-old Dutchman will sign a 3-year contract and succeed Klopp after 8 seasons at Anfield.
“Yes, I read and heard about what Arne said – replied the manager of the “Reds” to a question on the subject. Yesterday Slot also openly announced that there are indeed talks between the two clubs and he wants to go to “Anfield”. – From what I know about him as a person – cool, positive. His team plays football, which I like.
