Black Sea will have a new goalkeeper from next season. This will almost certainly be the champion with Ludogorets Plamen Iliev. The 32-year-old guard is currently part of the Romanian Universitatia (Cluj), but is leaving after the end of the campaign.
Iliev lost his starting place, and recently he does not even get into the group. He last guarded on February 4 in the 1:3 loss against UTA Arad. After that, he remained a reserve six times, and since the beginning of March he has not been included in the extended squad of the University, which is a clear indication of the club’s intentions towards him.
Recently, Iliev was even in Razgrad. He watched live the match between Ludogorets and Levski (5:1) for the championship. The former national guard also keeps for the “blues” in his career. Plamen Iliev is a three-time champion of Bulgaria with Ludogorets – 2019, 2020 and 2021.
The goalkeeper born in Botevgrad also guarded in our country for Vidima-Rakovski (Sevlievo), and in Romania he played for the teams of Botosani, Astra (Giurgevo), Dynamo (Bucharest) and Hermanstadt.
The current Black Sea goalkeeper and Bulgarian international Ivan Dyulgerov will also have a new team from the summer. Offers for him have come from Turkey, Greece and Slovenia, but it is possible that there will be other offers at the end of the campaign.
The guard leaves “Ticha” after 8 years at the club. The youngster of the “sailors” has an expiring contract and intends to renew it. Despite the refusal to re-sign, head coach Ilian Iliev relied on him until the end in the battle for Europe.
There are also inquiries about the national team from Bulgaria, but Dylgerov is determined to continue abroad. This season, he has kept in all 30 rounds of the regular season, recording 12 clean sheets and allowing 25 goals.
