Young Haas driver Mick Schumacher will have no connection with the Ferrari team, where his father Michael had the most successful period of his career.
Mick will sever all ties with the “Black Horses” at the end of the season, as until now he was part of the team’s academy.
In addition, Schumacher will not be part of Haas next season, although the information has not yet been confirmed by either side. The German is expected to be a free agent.
Kevin Magnussen is certain to remain in the American team, with Antonio Giovinazzi the favorite to be his new teammate, who is expected to replace the young Schumacher.
Mick has been linked with the Alpine and Williams teams, as well as, less likely, AlphaTauri, where American Colton Herta is expected to be brought in.
It is possible that next season in Formula 1 there will be no driver from Germany for a long time. The odds increased dramatically after Sebastian Vettel’s withdrawal.
It is clear that there is no place for Schumacher in Formula 1 in the near future, as it invests in Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, for whom the team has long-term plans.
