In Balkans: Djokovic stole the show at his brother’s wedding with Serbian songs and dances

Novak Djokovic missed out on this year’s US Open after being denied entry to the country due to a lack of a vaccination certificate, but it doesn’t seem to have affected him in any way given the spirit he displayed during the wedding of his younger brother George. On Monday, he and his partner Sashka Veselinov tied the knot at St. Mark’s Church in Belgrade, with the families and closest friends of both newlyweds attending the wedding ceremony, with Nole’s children among the groomsmen.

The next day, together with their guests, George and Saška flew to the Montenegrin city of Tivat, where the festivities continued in full force on the beach. The good mood of the guests was taken care of by the popular Serbian singer Sasha Kovacevic, but at one point the 21-time champion took the microphone and stole the show, performing the Serbian hit “AU Medjuverumen” (“And in the meantime”). Subsequently, together with the two newlyweds, Nole sang karaoke, and later decided to show off his dancing skills, having fun on the dance floor in the company of his wife Jelena and their son Stefan.
