U extreme, and more specifically the western Lviv region, was attacked this night with Iranian-made drones, the country’s air force announced today, quoted by France Press, BTA reported.
Since its invasion of Ukraine more than a year ago, Russia has regularly struck
on infrastructure sites in the neighboring country, leaving its population without electricity and water.
The Ukrainian military announced in Telegram that they destroyed 11 out of a total of 16 Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones,
launched from the Sea of Azov and from the Russian Bryansk region.
There are damaged buildings in Lviv, but not residential buildings; there are no victims, informed the governor of the district Maxim Kozicki.
The strikes affected critical infrastructure in the city of Novomoskovsk, north of the city of Dnipro,
caused a fire and considerable damage. Four buildings were destroyed, another six were injured, but no one was injured, announced Mykola Lukashuk, chairman of the local regional council.
All drones launched against Kiev were destroyed by Ukrainian air defenses
– there are no casualties or damage, the city administration said on social networks.
