The American HIMARS missiles used by the Air Force to defend against Russian aggression use the vaccinated with the preparation against COVID-19 “Sputnik” to calculate the hits and inflict damage. This completely serious theory represents the ardent supporter of Vladimir Putin, the honored artist of the Russian Federation and an outspoken anti-vaxxer, Maria Shukshina, the “Obozrevatel” publication claims. The Russian and Ukrainian media, narrating the insane version, do not indicate a source for their claims.
Shukshina, who is the older daughter of famous Soviet actor, filmmaker and writer Vasily Shukshin and actress Lidiya Fedoseeva-Shukshina, believes she has uncovered a dangerous American plan, and the coronavirus pandemic she calls an “American infectious-military special operation,” describes The Observer conspiracy story.
According to the 55-year-old actress, COVID-19 was invented in order to subsequently invent a vaccine against the virus, which would then destroy the Russians who were vaccinated with it. Shukshina discovered that this is how the HIMARS salvo missile system targets the Russian barracks where the vaccinated are clustered and hits them – military and civilians.
“What started in 2020 was the beginning of America’s infectious-military special operation. First a certain virus is invented, then a drug-vaccine is developed from it, which does nothing but leave a chip with coordinates uploaded to a satellite. And then, with the help of this satellite, they directed American weapons – they hit the barracks and the civilian population, who succumbed to the provocation and injected themselves with “Sputnik”, Shukshin’s theory is quoted by “Obozrevatel”.
The actress believes that her conclusions are quite obvious. She wonders why she has to explain such simple things to the audience. As an anti-vaxxer, Maria tried to prevent the population from being vaccinated, “but Big Pharma and the WHO already had more power.”
The claims attributed to Shukshina caused heated discussions in the Russian and Ukrainian segments of social networks. “So it turns out that the HIMARS are destroying Russians on the orders of the Russians themselves? Maybe no HIMARS? They push a button in the Pentagon and the vaccinated explode in the right place?” users commented. “Her father drank a lot. Nothing but Soviet-era alcoholism can explain this insanity,” other participants in the Twitter discussion commented on Shukshina’s words.
The powerful resonance of the conspiracy theory and the complete ridicule of the actress both in Ukraine and in Russia, forced Shukshin’s daughter to state that the media created a fake news, and she herself had nothing to do with the claims about Sputnik and American missiles. It is possible that the whole story is indeed a social media campaign aimed at punishing Maria Shukshina for her vehement support for the war in Ukraine.
