An assassination attempt was carried out against Krasimir Kamenov-Kuro, who is wanted by Interpol for murder and extortion, bTV claimed, citing its unofficial sources.

According to the media, Kuro and his wife died in the attempt. BNT claims the same, citing its sources.

To date, there has been no official confirmation of Kamenov’s death from the Bulgarian authorities.

https://twitter.com/Smile904FM/status/1661682952424529920 however, they report that two men and two women were found shot in a suburb of Cape Town, citing data from the local police that they were Bulgarians. It is believed that in addition to Kuro and his wife, two of his employees – a bodyguard and a babysitter – were killed.

A statement from police in South Africa did not reveal the identities of those killed, but said they were between 40 and 50 years old and believed to be of Bulgarian origin.

The bodies were found around 8:20 a.m. local time on May 25.

The 55-year-old man was charged with murder, threatening to kill and extortion by the prosecutor’s office. He has been living outside Bulgaria for years, and it was unofficially known that he had settled in South Africa – but he continues to own companies in the country. Connected to it is the vegetable exchange in “Slatina” and others.

In March 2023, Kuro was accused of inciting the murder of former policeman Lyubomir Ivanov, who was shot in 2022 in the Lozenets district.

He is also the “main actor” in the recordings with which the chief prosecutor Ivan Geshev announced that there was a conspiracy of “oligarchs and the mafia” to overthrow him.

Stay tuned for details.
