Krasimir Kamenov-Kuro and his wife were murdered in their home in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa. Their housekeeper was also killed.

For now, the Bulgarian authorities refuse official information.

The businessman Krasimir Kamenov, nicknamed Kuro, was declared a wanted person with an Interpol red notice at the request of the Bulgarian authorities. Kamenov is wanted on suspicion of threats to kill, extortion and murder.

He is accused of inciting the former policeman Lyubomir Ivanov, who was shot dead in the capital’s Lozenets neighborhood last year.

Lyubomir Ivanov was shot in front of his home in Sofia on March 25. Ivanov is a former head of the “Criminal Police” in one of the capital’s regional offices, he left the system in 2014. In 2018, he was wanted by Interpol as a participant in a criminal group for the production and sale of illegal cigarettes.

At the same time, the prosecution accused Kamenov of being part of a conspiracy, with the participation of other criminals, as well as defendants such as Tsvetan Vasilev, in a conspiracy to discredit senior magistrates and police officers.
