Grigor Dimitrov will fight for a place in the final of the ATP 250 series tournament in Geneva today. The Bulgarian tennis player will face the American Taylor Fritz not before 15:00 Bulgarian time.
Dimitrov has already recorded two wins in the event, which is a warm-up for the French Open, which starts on Sunday. In the opener, Grigor handled Roberto Carbayes Baena in straight sets, and yesterday he overturned Australian Christopher O’Connell to win in three sets. At the same time, Fritz defeated Ilya Ivashka of Belarus 6-0, 6-1.
This will be the second match between Dimitrov and Fritz, with the American having won the only meeting so far – at the Madrid Masters in 2019. The 25-year-old Fritz is ranked 9th in the world. Dimitrov is chasing his first appearance in an ATP-level final since 2018.
Our third racket Adrian Andreev will also have an important match today. The 22-year-old Andreev will face the 227th in the world the Argentinean Genaro Oliveri in a match of the third round of the Roland Garros qualifiers.
