There will be new electricity and heating prices in Sofia from July 1

The experts from the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation proposed a minimal increase in the prices of thermal energy, it is clear from the KEVR report.

The report foresees an increase of 0.05%, which is a price increase of 7 percent, from BGN 137.86 to BGN 137.93 per megawatt hour.

The energy regulator also released the report on electricity prices. For households in Sofia and throughout Western Bulgaria, the increase will be 3.44%. They are supplied by the companies of “Electrohold Sales”.

On June 1, at 10:00 a.m., an open meeting will be held in the KEVR building to discuss the report. The commission will then make a final decision on prices from July 1 in a closed meeting.
