KEVR publishes the reports on new electricity and heating prices from July 1. According to the department’s calculations, household electricity will increase in price by an average of 3.6%, and steam heating by less than 1 percent.
For Varna, the price increase will be 4.24%.

A final decision on the new prices will be made on July 1. Until then, a public discussion will be held, as well as an open meeting in the Commission. Both heating and electricity prices were last changed a year ago.

According to KEVR’s calculations, the largest increase in electricity will be in North-East Bulgaria by 4.24%, and the least for customers in South-East – 3.41%.

The proposed price change is:

“Electrohold Sales” – 3.44%

EVN Bulgaria Electricity Supply – 3.41%

Energo-Pro Sales – 4.24%

ESP “Golden Sands” – 18.04%

The KEVR did not accept the data received from the district heating companies, which wanted a three-digit price increase. The offered prices are as follows for individual cities:

“Toplofikatsia Sofia” – 0.05%

“Heating Plovdiv” – 0.14%

“Heating Pleven” – 0.07%

“Toplofikatsia Burgas” – 0.28%

“Heating Varna” – 0.35%

“Heating Vratsa” – 0.05%

“Heating Veliko Tarnovo” – 0.11%

“Ruse heating” – 0.09%

“Heating Pernik” – 0.66%

“Heating Sliven” – 0.26%

“Gabrovo Heating” – 0.36%

“Heating Razgrad” – 0.48%

The price of heating and hot water in Sofia increases symbolically by 0.05%, in Varna by 0.35%. In Pernik there is a decrease of 0.66 percent. At the moment, the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation is checking the quality of the supplied thermal energy in the capital’s “Toplofikatsia” due to reports of inflated heating bills in April, writes morue.net.
