Two houses and a barn were on fire in the Samokovo village of Govedartsi, the General Directorate of Fire Safety and Protection of the Population reported to BTA.
Four fire brigade teams are on the scene. There are no reports of casualties or injuries.
People also joined in the repayment, running with buckets of water in an attempt to save their possessions.
“I was in the room with my youngest son and I was getting ready to pick up my other two children from kindergarten. And suddenly I saw the barbecue on fire, the summer kitchen ignited, then the fire went to the second floor of the house. On the edge of winter we stay on the street. Everything burned – clothes, shoes, furniture, the children’s toys, we have nothing,” Stanislava Peycheva, who lives in the house with her husband, three children and her father, told journalists.

“The Municipal Forestry will provide timber for the roof, and the clearing of the burned remains will begin tomorrow with the help of volunteers, said Lorita Hristova, mayor of the village in the term 2019/2023. Donation boxes have already been placed in the village of Govedartsi. a campaign is to be organized in the town of Samokov. The neighboring house is also affected, which will also need repairs. Many people from the village also came to help the injured family.
The quarter in which the houses are located is located near the village on the road to the monastery “St. George”.
The fire is localized, the reasons for what happened are being clarified.
