“I am skeptical when the state appoints someone to a private enterprise. Having a special representative take over the management of the refinery is not a very good idea. The state is not a good steward.
The stocks we keep we cannot use for anything. This is a legal decision, so the price is higher. The refinery has 10 days supply after which it must shut down if there is no supply. From here on, it is very difficult to let go. A product pipeline and an oil pipeline from Alexandroupolis is the solution. This will not happen in days, the process should have started with the granting of the derogation,” Benchev commented.
