Daniel Panov from GERB and Yordan Terziyski from the coalition “We continue the change – Democratic Bulgaria” will appear in the second round of the local elections in the municipality of Veliko Tarnovo today, according to the decision of the Municipal Election Commission, published on its website. In the first round of the local elections, Daniel Panov received 11,406 of the actual votes of the voters, and Yordan Terziyski – 5,645 of the votes. For the second round, 142 polling stations will be opened, specified for BTA Desislava Yonkova, chairperson of the Municipal Election Commission. 68,040 voters have the right to vote, five fewer than in the first round of local elections. 75,000 paper ballots have been delivered to the Municipal Election Commission, in 108 of the polling stations voting will be mixed – with machines and with paper ballots.

In the municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa, Dobromir Dobrev from the political party (PP) GERB and Nikolay Rashkov from the PP “Direct Democracy” will appear in the runoff. The number of voters in the municipality is 44,000 people, they will exercise their right to vote in 67 polling stations, in 60 of them voting will be mixed – with paper ballots and machines.

In the second round in the municipality of Pavlikeni, those entitled to vote will choose between the candidate of “BSP for Bulgaria” Emanuil Manolov and Tsanko Tsonev from the local coalition “Together for a strong municipality”. 19,073 voters have the right to vote, who can exercise it in 43 sectional election commissions, in 30 of them there will also be the possibility of machine voting.

In the municipality of Lyaskovets, in the second round, voters will cast their vote for the independent candidate nominated by an initiative committee, Antonio Krastev, or the candidate of the Agricultural Union “Alexander Stamboliyski” Vasil Hristov. The number of voters in the municipality of Lyaskovets is 10,490 people, they will be able to vote in 16 polling stations, in all stations voting will take place with paper ballots and with machines.

In the municipality of Elena, in the second round, Dilyan Mlzev from PP GERB and Petar Dimitrov from the local coalition “Bulgarian Rise” will appear. In the municipality, the number of voters is 7853 people, who will be able to vote in 27 polling stations, in eight of them they will have the right to choose whether to vote with a paper ballot or with a machine.
