Borussia Dortmund fans still can’t get over how they lost the title in the final round last season and Bayern became champions. In the new season, the two giants will face each other. The first German “Clasico” will be held at “Signal Iduna Park” at 19:30.
Borussia is in fourth place with 21 points, Edin Terzic’s team is unbeaten but has three draws. Only Jurgen Klopp in the 2010/11 and 2013/14 seasons has won more points than the current coach of the team after the first 9 rounds. The “millionaires” are unbeaten at home in 20 home games, including a 2-2 draw with Bayern last season.
Bayern are also unbeaten in the Bundesliga and go into the match in second place, two points ahead of their biggest rivals, but also two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen. The Bavarians are now 10 games without a loss against Dortmund (nine wins and one draw). If they don’t lose today, Bayern will equal the club’s unbeaten record against Dortmund.
The Bavarian colossus has scored 44 goals at Borussia in the last 13 games, with the exception of one when he scored one goal, scoring at least two in all others.
Joshua Kimmich and Matthias de Ligt will not play for Bayern tonight, while Mazraowi, Goretzka and Coman are questionable. In Dortmund, only Duranville is injured and Nmecha is uncertain.
