Today is a day for reflection before the second round of the mayoral elections

Until the end of election day on Sunday, political campaigning and publicizing polls are prohibited.

According to data from the Central Election Commission (CEC), 91 mayors of municipalities, 451 mayors of town halls and 31 mayors of districts will be elected on Sunday. The latter are only in Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv.

Over 7,300 sections have been formed and will receive their election papers and materials today.

A voting machine will be delivered to 5,900 of them.

The members of electoral commissions receive the electoral lists, from which the people who lost electoral rights between the two rounds are excluded and those who acquired them are added. Where mobile polling stations were closed because the number of voters was less than 10, the CEC ordered that they be added by hand because they were deleted in the first round at their permanent address.

The voting machines will be delivered according to the approved schedule to the sections, and in Sofia and the Sofia region it is planned that their movement will be the last.

Devices are tested today by comparing the hash code. Replacement of a machine is not allowed if it does not work today, for which the MEC and the CEC are notified.
