The prices of the main food products on the exchanges in the country remain unchanged, according to the State Commission for Commodity Exchanges and Markets (DKSBT).
The market price index (ITC), which reflects the movement of wholesale food prices in our countrythis week rose by 0.64 percent to 2,206 points. Last week ITC was at the level of 2.192 points.
The level of ITC at the beginning of the year was 2,316 points, and in the first third of March it reached its spring maximum of 2,480 points. The base level of the ITC – 1,000 points – is from 2005.
Greenhouse cucumbers this week, however, the price increased by 13.9 percent to BGN 2.29 per kilogram.
Price of the tomatoes falls by 3.6 percent and they are traded at BGN 3.26 per kilogram. The potatoes are up by 6.7 percent to BGN 1.28 per kilogram. Price of the carrots decreased by 0.8 percent to BGN 1.03 per kilogram. Price of ripe onions (import) increased by 2.1 percent to BGN 1.43 per kilogram. The green peppers are traded 16.6 percent more expensive at a price of BGN 1.76 per kilogram. They are also getting more expensive red peppers – by 6.7 percent to BGN 2.22 per kilogram. Cabbage is traded at BGN 0.94 per kilogram.
The apples from imports fell by 5.8 percent and are traded at BGN 1.80 per kilogram. They are also cheaper the lemons – by 0.9 percent to BGN 2.29 per kilogram. Price of the bananas increased by 0.7 percent to BGN 2.91 per kilogram. By 4.1 percent, they are increasing in price the oranges and they are bought at BGN 3.28 per kilogram. The grapes increases in price by 0.9 percent to BGN 2.27 per kilogram.
Price of cow’s cheese increased by 0.5 percent and sold at BGN 11.42 per kilogram, a cheese “Vitosha” type becomes cheaper by 0.3 percent to BGN 17.35 per kilogram.
The yoghurt (3 and over 3 percent fat content) this week is bought for BGN 1.15. The price of fresh milk (3 percent oil content) is raised by 0.5 percent and it is sold at BGN 2.19 per liter.
Chicken meat falls by 1.6 percent and is available at BGN 6.34 per kilogram. The eggs (size M) increase in price by 1 cent and are bought at BGN 0.34 per item wholesale.
Price of the rice decreased by 1.3 percent and it was traded at BGN 3.14 per kilogram. It also gets cheaper the lens – by 0.7 percent to BGN 4.17 per kilogram. Ripe beans declines by 0.5 percent and it is traded at BGN 4.12 per kilogram.
Sugar is sold at BGN 2.42 per kilogram. The oil became cheaper – by 3.7 percent and is traded at BGN 2.87 per liter. Type 500 flour became cheaper by 4.3 percent to BGN 1.35 per kilogram. The price of a cow butter (packet of 125 grams) rises by 3.3 percent and is sold at BGN 2.52 per piece.
