Grigor Dimitrov will try to win a second ATP Masters 1000 title of his career today from 16:00 at the tournament in Paris. The best Bulgarian tennis player will argue for the title with the world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, and the match will be broadcast live on MAX Sport 1. Novak Djokovic qualified for the final in Paris after a highly contested clash and reversal against Andrei Rublev (5-7, 7-6(3), 7-5), where he was awaited by Grigor Dimitrov, who earlier in the day eliminated the world No.6 Stefanos Tsitsipas – 6:3, 6:7 (1), 7:6 (3).
This will be the thirteenth meeting between the two, with Grigor Dimitrov having only one victory – in 2013 at the ATP 1000 series tournament in Rome. Novak Djokovic, who currently tops the ATP rankings, has six titles coming into Paris and will be playing in his seventh final of the year.
Grigor Dimitrov has one Masters title, which he won in Cincinnati in 2017. The best Bulgarian tennis player is in excellent form and reached the final by eliminating Lorenzo Musetti, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Bublik, Hubert Hurkach and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
