Since the beginning of the campaign until 11:00 a.m. today a total of 2,389 reports of violations of the electoral legislation and the political rights of citizens were received in SDVR and ODMVR, and on the day of the runoff they are 37.
The police remind that reports of violations that impede the normal course of the election process and are related to the activity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, can be submitted to the 24-hour telephone line of the ministry 02 90 112 98 and to the e-mail [email protected], as well as to the specially opened telephone lines and e-mails in places in regional directorates of the Ministry of the Interior.
They have been formed so far 206 pre-trial proceedings /57 quick and 149 – according to the general order/, of which 177 – are for violation of the political rights of citizens and 29 – for other violations related to the election process.
The accelerated continues issuing certificates to citizens to exercise their right to vote. For the period from October 31 until 10:00 a.m. today the “Bulgarian identity documents” units in the SDVR and ODMVR have issued 379 certificates. Today alone they are 33.
The situation at the border points is normal, the traffic through individual checkpoints is normal truck intensive. When conditions are created for the formation of convoys of vehicles, the officers of the Border Police are ready to introduce light checks.
To 09:30 today on the territory of the country, there were no accidents under the competence of the PBZN related to the conduct of the elections. Fire teams are providing assistance in the territory of the municipalities where a state of emergency has been declared after the stormy wind and intense rainfall.
