Bulgaria votes in the second round of local elections. Here is the voter turnout by municipality as of 4 p.m.:
Sofia
The voter turnout in the local elections in Sofia at 4:00 p.m. was 23.7%, announced the chairperson of the Municipal Election Commission, Polina Vitanova.
She said that 250,500 people out of a total of 1,100,000 voters exercised their right to vote.
In Sofia, citizens can exercise their right to vote in a total of 1,639 polling stations, BTA reported.
In comparison to the first round of the local elections on October 29, voter turnout at 16:00 was 25.59%.
Plovdiv
The activity in the Plovdiv region at 4 p.m. is the highest in the municipality of Sopot – 38.41%. Followed by Hisarya with 37.54% and Brezovo with 37.09%. This is indicated by a report of the regional administration.
Plovdiv remains in the queue with 17.25%, interest is also weak in Asenovgrad – 24%.

Sliven
Compared to a week ago, 5,647 fewer people voted in the municipality of Sliven at 4 p.m., announced Todor Todorov, spokesperson of the municipal election commission. In the city of the hundred voivodes, a runoff for the election of the mayor of the municipality is being held today.
There were 21,087 people who voted until 4 p.m. in the municipality of Sliven – a turnout of 21.3 percent compared to 26,734 or 27 percent who voted at the same hour in the first round of the local elections on October 29.

Montana
Voter turnout in the Montana region was close to 50 percent at 4:00 p.m. on the Sunday of the run-offs. Voter turnout was 44.83 percent.

Dimitrovgrad

Teteven
As of 4:00 p.m., voter turnout in Teteven municipality was 45 percent, with 7,431 people casting their vote, the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) informed BTA.

Razgrad

Pazardzhik
