“I, like Kostov, do not do it with great desire,” said GERB leader Boyko Borisov in response to a question about his support for Vasil Terziev, immediately after he cast his vote with a paper ballot.
However, according to Borisov, if his support was read as a mockery by the PP-DB, then “Well, he is ungrateful. I regret that I signed his number at the moment, if that is how he interpreted it.” Earlier, Terziev described Borisov’s call from Friday to support the PP-DB in the capital as a joke.
“The election was last week, now I just gave my word and I have fulfilled it,” he added.
Borisov expressed his concerns about the machine vote and hinted at schemes.
“From what I hear, there are such offers in Bankya… It does not honor those with morals. I see that the machines also break mainly in Sofia and Varna. This is one of the schemes – if the machine allegedly breaks, if there is a duplicate somewhere, for them to scroll through the receipts”. This is what GERB leader Boyko Borisov said after exercising his right to vote.
“In the country, such unprincipled work in the coalitions that the PPs enter. It simply does not honor them. I see that they have new partners. Let them see who they are playing with. Let them not say later that Radev is bad. I expressly warn them, knowing what they are doing at the moment,” Borisov also said.
“I wish everyone success. What will be the consequences for the cities – we will see”, indicated the leader of GERB.
“I am very interested in those who talk about voter turnout – what do they expect when they raised their fists 3 years ago and made the parties loathe each other, hate each other, not even have the opportunity to morally, fundamentally support each other at such a moment. Currently there is only hatred, there is only anti,” Borisov continued.

“Nothing has changed. I keep my word. For me, the elections for Sofia ended last Sunday, when people had the opportunity to actually elect a democrat, now we choose from what is available, but the voice of the people, the voice of God,” he pointed out .
“I called for a vote for PP-DB, because we are in a coalition. We will see who supported whom and how, and I will tell you how this assembly functions in the country.” he added.
Borisov showed that he does not agree with the replacement of the head of the National Security Agency requested by Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov.
“Why? Because of what? There should have been an immediate replacement of the deputy minister who walks around with the phone and takes pictures of the two codes. They said, if the machines break and someone has the two codes, someone can manipulate the machines. I watched Denkov spinning around the machine and I didn’t want to look so funny either,” he added.
“Now, when Euro-Atlantic values are mentioned, everyone is turning to the other side. Everyone is saying what they can get away with party-wise, and in this chaos they are causing, they probably have no reason to do so,” Borisov commented on whether it should be amend the laws after the elections.
“The party should have had a higher result last Sunday. As a result of our low result, we are in this situation in Sofia,” analyzed Borisov. He denied having met Kiril Petkov before the vote.
