Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen ended in a 2-2 draw in a match of the tenth round of the Bundesliga. The visitors took the lead through Marvin Dukš (7′), but the hosts staged a complete turnaround with goals from Václav Cerno (37′) and Kevin Paredes (59′) before Rafael Santos Bore (65′) scored, with which shaped the final result. The hosts finished a man down as Marxens Lacroix was sent off for a second yellow card in the 88th minute.
The “Bremen musicians” managed to go ahead in the seventh minute, when Dukš scored after a precise execution of a foul. The two teams exchanged one more very good scoring opportunity before the end of the first half hour, when first Michael Zetterer managed to prevent an equalizer after a shot by Maxons Lacroix, and shortly afterwards Pavao Pervan did as well, who dealt with a shot from Romano Schmidt . The equalizing goal was reached in the 37th minute, when Joakim Meele found Vaclav Cherno well and he converted for 1:1. Kevin Paredes completed the complete turnaround in favor of the “wolves” in the 59th minute after crossing from the right for 2:1. However, the joy of the Wolfsburg players lasted only a few minutes, as already in the 65th minute, Rafael Santos Borre took advantage of a cross from the right by Michel Weiser and headed in an unchallenged 1:1. Maxons Lacroix was sent off shortly before the end of regular time when he missed a foul and was sent off by Tobias Reichel.

In this way, the two teams shared one point each, which probably did not satisfy each of the two mentors, but it is a positive sign in the unstable performance. Each of the two teams has conceded three defeats in their last five matches. Werder is in 12th place in the Bundesliga standings and Wolfsburg is 9th with 13 points.
