Max Verstappen started today’s Interlagos race from pole position, followed by Charles Leclerc and Friday’s surprise Lance Stroll.

In the warm-up lap, Charles Leclerc crashed after a hydraulic problem. The Ferrari team experienced a nightmare after the Monegasque was positioned second on the grid and ambitions were very high.

At the very start there was also a blow. In the middle of the column, Kevin Magnussen and Alex Albon dropped out after both cars went off the track. Nico Hulkenberg was also at the center of events, with one of Magnussen’s tires hitting Daniel Ricciardo’s rear wing and putting his participation in doubt.

At the front, Lance Stroll reacted very slowly and Lando Norris improved to second place, while Verstappen calmly held the first position.

A short while later the race was suspended with a red flag.

Round 4

Max Verstappen made a good start again and took first place. Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton entered a tire-to-tire battle, but the McLaren driver was able to protect himself. Seconds later, Fernando Alonso pushed past Hamilton for third.

Round 8

McLaren and Lando Norris showed good pace and closed in on Max Verstappen. Norris even tried an overtake, but couldn’t pull it off. A few quick laps by the Dutchman followed and the distance increased.

Round 14

Sergio Perez tried a maneuver against George Russell and it proved successful. The Mercedes driver tried to counterattack, but the Mexican was careful and did not allow that to happen.

Round 17

Perez proved that he is in great form this weekend and reached 4th place. The Red Bull driver overtook Lewis Hamilton and chased down Fernando Alonso in a battle for the podium.

Round 24

The Alpha Tauri team withdrew Guanyu Zhou’s car due to a technical problem.

Round 27

Max Verstappen and Lando Norris changed tires at the same time. The teams in the pits made no mistakes and the positions at the front did not change.
