Kaufland is reducing the cost of charging at its electric car stations

Kaufland Bulgaria is reducing the price of charging stations for electric cars in its network – from BGN 0.88/kWh to BGN 0.78/kWh. The measure takes effect from today and aims to meet the needs of the chain’s customers by offering competitive prices against the backdrop of ever-increasing interest in the service.

The new price is valid for all Kaufland fast charging points. It remains among the lowest in the country. In this way, the main social purpose of the stations is preserved – to support electromobility in Bulgaria. Payment for the service is made through the VsichkoTok mobile application. It is expected that the lower price of the service will further stimulate the transition to a cleaner environment and ecological mobility.

The retailer is constantly improving the quality of the offered service and helping its customers to even more easily combine charging their electric cars and shopping in the chain’s hypermarkets. Kaufland continues to expand its network of charging stations – the latest ones are located in the company’s newly opened stores in Sofia – in “Manastirski Livadi” and in “Lyulin”-3. Thus, the total number of fast-charging electric charging stations of Kaufland Bulgaria, located in the parking lots of hypermarkets throughout the country, is now 17.

The largest retailer on the Bulgarian market started equipping its sites with electric vehicle charging stations in February 2017. The energy provided through them is 100% “green”^[1]with which Kaufland Bulgaria strengthens its leading role as a socially responsible company.
