Two people have been detained in connection with the death of a 69-year-old man from Breznishko, reported the OD of the Ministry of the Interior – Pernik.
A report of a dead man under a shed in his house in the village of Rezhantsi in Brezni was reported on the morning of November 4 at phone number 112. Employees of the CSNMMP, ODMVR – Pernik and a medical examiner visited the scene of the accident. The emergency medics found the death of the 69-year-old man, and the law enforcement authorities and the pathologist performed an examination.
It was found that the front door of his house had been broken in and 3 shotguns, a mobile phone and a TV receiver had been stolen. As a result of the immediate operative-search and procedural-investigative actions taken, two brothers aged 40 and 44, known to the police and convicted, were arrested.
It is understood that the 44-year-old is the former brother-in-law of the deceased and the families have had constant friction and problems for a long time. The hunting rifles were found hidden in a wooded area in the area of Perniško village.
Initially, an investigation was started for murder under Art. 115 of the Criminal Code. After the autopsy, it was established that the death occurred from a heart attack. There is a pre-trial proceeding for robbery. The actions of the investigation continue under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office – Pernik.
