This Monday we will remember how Chief Manchev responded to a call for help from the managers of a family establishment in the archaeological park “Topolnitsa”.
The family of Magdalena and Ivan lost their jobs and decided to rent and manage a restaurant in their native village of Chavdar in the picturesque Zlatishko-Pirdop valley. Despite their lack of experience, the two rolled up their sleeves and set about making Magdalena’s childhood dream come true. The fascinating view at the foot of Stara planina fills the eyes and whets the appetite of visitors. But are a good location and base sufficient prerequisites for a successful business?
After a detailed “inspection” and tasting of some dishes from the menu, Chef Manchev found that a large part of the offered dishes was missing and there were errors in the execution of the recipes. He has to urgently put on his apron and enter the kitchen, where he is shocked by what he sees and by the products that are used for the dishes.
