Tottenham and Chelsea play on a draw 1:1 in a match of the 11th round of the Premier League.

As early as the 6th minute, Chelsea’s defense cracked as Pape Sarr found Kuluszewski and he was given a lot of free space, with Kouliel not closing him at all, which allowed the Swede to shoot, and after the resulting ricochet, the ball flew into Sanchez’s goal – 1:0 for Tottenham.

Immediately afterwards, Spurs created another opportunity as Pedro Porro attempted a shot from distance, but Robert Sanchez was prepared to make the save. In the 11th minute, Chelsea created their first goal-scoring opportunity when Raheem Sterling brought Jackson alone against the keeper, but the latter delayed before shooting and Vicario showed great reflexes to clear for a corner.

Moments later, Udoji only got away with a yellow card for a dangerous tackle on Raheem Sterling. The situation was reviewed again, but no major penalty followed, mainly because the Spurs player played with the ball, and the contact was not that serious.

In the 21st minute, Raheem Sterling broke into the opposition penalty area well and managed to finish in a wonderful way to level the scores. Chelsea’s goal was disallowed for offside as the England international touched the ball with his hand during the attack.

Shortly after, Moises Caicedo received on the edge of the penalty area and fired a bomb shot with his left foot, leaving Vicario no chance. However, the hit was canceled due to an ambush. However, that was not all of the situation, as from VAR I noticed a rough entry of Christian Romero into the penalty area, and Michael Oliver examined the situation himself on the monitor. In the end, Romero was sent off for excessive roughness and a penalty was awarded. With the performance, Cole Palmer shouldered the ball, and the Tottenham guard hit the ball into the post, but it still ended up in the net – 1:1.

At the end of the first half, Tottenham had the misfortune of two of its players getting injured. Mickey van de Ven picked up a strain and James Maddison was clearly in discomfort as well, with both forced to be substituted.
