He noted that in the second round the party won in 7 regional cities
“GERB is the first political force in the country!” emphasized Boyko Borisov. The leader of GERB took stock of the local elections held in two rounds, stressing that his party won mayors in half of the regional centers of the country.
“The candidates for mayors of GERB and supported by GERB won in the first round in 95 municipalities, in the second round they won in 38 municipalities or in total in 133 municipalities out of 265. Of these, GERB won in the first round in 7 regional cities – Burgas, Vratsa, Montana , Pernik, Stara Zagora, Targovishte and Yambol,” he wrote on his Facebook profile.
Borisov noted that in the second round GERB won in 7 regional cities – Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Pleven, Plovdiv, Sliven, Smolyan and Haskovo – in total in 14 regional cities out of 28.
