I am satisfied with the results in Sofia, a campaign can always be conducted in a better way. We have a serious group in the Municipal Council, we won 20 of the 24 districts in Sofia. We will nominate Boris Bonev for the chairman of the Municipal Council. There must be a majority in the council. I hope we will improve Sofia with bold steps forward. This was stated by the co-founder of “Save Sofia” and financier Andrey Zografski in the program “The Day Live” on NOVA NEWS.

Zografski threatened that there will be a complete revision of the management of Sofia – of all companies, of the Metropolitan Inspectorate.

According to him, changes are needed in the Law on Public Procurement, the Law on Territorial Planning and the Law on the Planning of Sofia. Zografski called to stop the process of restitution of agricultural lands – this is a source of corruption deals. He explained that the Road Traffic Act is not good. They will also want the creation of a municipal police.

The co-founder of “Save Sofia” urged not to call every coalition an “assemblage”.

“Let this word remain at the national level, we don’t want it to be transferred to Sofia,” he said and added that politics should not become a constant speculation.

For him, the main problem of Sofia is not the names of the streets.

“I would suggest that a street like “Aksakov” should first look good, be functional, have conditions for road safety. According to Zografski, the DANS report, on the basis of which the machine voting of the first round of the local vote was canceled, was a staging and called to speak more carefully so as not to undermine confidence in the electoral process.
